Every other Saturday morning down at the Lucky Silver Tavern, an enigma walked through the door.

Even when it wasn’t raining, she entered in a drenched parka, with her silver hair spilling out over her face from underneath the hood. Most believed she was always wet because she traveled in the clouds; as she was constantly returning from some place so far from where she had just been that only the clouds could carry her back and forth.

She wasn’t impolite, but her rather wild appearance and mysterious ways made guests feel uneasy.

She was, after all, Lady Charlotte, “the witch of McKinley Hill”.
